For those who think that the blessing of the monarchy is anachronistic institution and not very attentive to the phenomena of our time here is the first photographic diary of the British Crown 2.0: it is called The British Monarchy's photostream and is the 'official photo album of the British Royal Family Flickr.

More than 600 photos to tell the story of Queen Elizabeth II and that of the entire House of Windsor: the first sepia images of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to those of the Queen Mother and King George VI, to the recent images of Prinicipi Harry and Williams.

Each family member has a dedicated gallery and photos can be shared or embedded in blogs and social media. You can not post comments (like say, no one touches the Queen, even on the Web).

That Flickr is not the first excursion into the world of Web 2.0 of the English monarchy, dating back to 2006, the first speech of the Queen's Christmas broadcast podcasts , followed by the opening of an official channel on YouTube and a Twitter account which already has 50 thousand followers.

Nothing transpires however using the network from the Queen today 84enne. "We do not comment ever technological habits of the Queen," said a spokesman for Buckingham Palace.
