A new call for Biomedicine and Biotechnology space has been approved by the Board of Directors of 'the Italian Space Agency, which continues this particular line of business, started since 2005, which resulted in the adoption of macro OSMA, DCMC and MOMA.

The ban, which extends for three years, addressed the Italian researchers for proposals in the following areas:
- Radiobiology;
- Theoretical foundations of the relationship-gravity biological systems;
- Gravity and physiology of the equipment, bone, muscle, hematopoietic, caridovascolare, and neuromotor control.

Particular attention should be paid to the issue of countermeasures to achieve programs Technological Readiness Level greater than 4.

A special consideration should be given to the development of new biomedical technologies, such as sensors (for the acquisition of biochemical data) and wireless integrated systems for the analysis of vital functions (cardiac and respiratory).
